The best feature, though, is something which tells you you’re doing amazingly well while ramping up the tension at the same time. It’s a huge number of adjustments possible, and you really won’t know where to start with it. You can even fiddle with the room the table is set – change the carpet, the decorations, the weather and the sounds and you can get it as close to possible like feeling you have an actual pinball table in the room with you. There is a story mode and a campaign, both of which set specific pinball tasks you must complete before progressing. There are few things more satisfying than making that leaderboard. The leaderboards for these tables are coupled with their real equivalents, however, so you’re always set by a disadvantage when mounting an assault on the charts here. The retro versions of tables mentioned earlier are simplified versions of already existing tables, put together by the developers to up the challenge and make racking up the scores look all the more impressive. The tables are all available from the get-go, but all of them bar the odd one or two have a score limit where you’ll need to drop some cash to have more freedom playing them. I understand adding your own backglass pictures, although for real tables I think they should already be in the game, but I've been typing in numbers trying to tweak DMD positions for a half hour now and it's infuriating. Compared to Zaccaria Pinball, where I can LITERALLY just turn cabinet mode on and start playing with everything in the proper position two seconds later, this is a confusing mess to me. I have a simple two monitor setup, 1440p main playfield in vertical orientation and portrait mode, smaller 1080p monitor on top in landscape, forming a T shaped setup.
